Tulane Sailing Prepares to Host ICSA Team Race Nationals
NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University sailing program is set to host the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Team Race National Championships from April 23-27. The team race championship regattas will be hosted by the Green Wave at the Southern Yacht Club with the races taking place on Lake Pontchartrain.
The championship competition will kick off with the open team race championship from Thursday through Saturday, April 23-25. The open championships will be followed by the women’s team races championship on Sunday and Monday, April 26-27.
Tulane earned bids for both the open and women’s championships by rolling to SEISA conference titles in team racing this spring. The Green Wave will be one of 16 teams competing in the open championship and one of 15 team in the women’s championship.
